Prudhoe Bay in 5!!

What a Rock Star! Nathan has made it to Prudhoe Bay in 5 days flat! Tired and muddy with a fresh pair of socks to boot. lol You will have to ask him.

(7/5) From Fairbanks he worked his way up to the Dalton Highway, stopping to camp for the night at Marion Creek. He had met 2 riders at the campground and hit it off with them, go figure=)

Today Nathan and his new friends took off at 7am this morning (7/6) to head back out on the Dalton Highway, to Prudhoe Bay. They made several stops along the way, taking breaks and checking out the beautiful nature around them. Nathan can't believe how beautiful this area really is up there. He made it to Prudhoe Bay a little after 3pm today. He was 1 1/2 miles shy from making it on one tank of gas (252 miles). Nice!! He is very tired, but is looking forward to taking the tour of the oil fields and the Arctic. He is sharing a hotel room with the guys he met at Marion Creek, so they can split the cost of the room ($185 a night). He is hoping to take the tour later on today, but if he can't he will be touring it up tomorrow morning before he starts heading back.

Just so you all know...He is the ONLY rider with a sports bike up in that neck of the woods. Some peeps have asked if the Duc is some kind of dual sport. Nathan replies with, if you want it to be. Too funny! The tires are waring quick due to the nature of the Dalton. He may have to stop and get some new rubber after he travels back down the Highway.
